Players line up on opposite sides of the field. Each player is given a number (or fruit or vegetable depending on what is fun). It is important to try to match kids up by ability so that they are even. Each sideline is assigned a goal that they are trying to score on.
When a player is called, they run to the ball and try to get to it first.
The players then try to score on their designated goal. Players should dribble or pass (if more than one person is called) to try to score.
The player(s) without the ball play defense.
Play continues until one side scores a goal, the ball goes out of bounds, or it goes on too long.
