Horizontal setup for Team B SuniG 2016. The concept of this horizontal is to provide advantageous first stack positioning and make use of the vertical cutting cycle of open-window-break to more the disc upward. the offense is mid orientated and priority is for the mid to be able to move the disc up freely and easily. The handlers are to hold the disc when extra time is required for setting up of the stack. The below will show the roles and flow of the offense.
setting of stack. Mids - To be 10-15m in front of the disc Handlers - set in 1-0-1 format with open side handler being 45 degree behind the disc line and break side handler align to the disc. Mids flow from step: 3 - xx. Handler flow from step: xx - xx
Mids flow ideal. (open-window-break). To progress the disc up with as little passes as possible. Priorities; 1) each disc possession will have a maximum of 2 upfield option and have to move to dump. 2) 2nd cutters are the stronger and more advantageous movement, so make use of it. 3)1,2 and 3,4 are buddies, buddies only change when restacked.
