  2. Step 2

Cut 1 - Offense sincerely tries to get a strike. It's the defense's job to not allow that to happen. D uses Block to take away threat #1 (upline). If the thrower throws and it's a turn, deduct points from starting scrimmage score. If thrower looks off and handler clears strike, no point deduction

  3. Step 3

Cut 2 - If Offense can't take the upline and decides to get the reset instead of clearing, D needs to use Cover to take away that option. If the D covers and thrower looks off, no points deducted. If the thrower throws a turn, points deducted some scrimmage starting score.

  4. Step 4

In all cases, the O player needs to look IMMEDIATELY at the 2nd dump for a swing (to condition that). It's hard to judge the 3rd handler, but essentially his spacing needs to anticipate where the middle handler will do/end up. There's more intuition in that than what I can put here and will have to be demonstrated.

  5. Step 5

TOP - 45 deg in front of the thrower (good teams will do this - I know several Truck handlers who aim to) MIDDLE - horizontal to thrower (we don't want this for our O, but team will have this) BOTTOM : -45deg (this is what our O is used to)
