The Defense Pulls the disc to the offense
The offense picks up the disc and centers the disc to the middle handler in a Horizontal Stack. The defense sets up with a two man cup. The 1st defender marks forcing flick taking away the IO to the break side, while the 2nd defender works as the middle man of the cup. The typical third defender man guards the break side handler to prevent throws to the break side. The wings set up slightly under the cutters on either side of the mid mid. The monster prevents the huck.
The force side wing pinches in on the in cut while the mid mid cuts off the other in cut while the break side wing guards the break side deep cut just enough to discourage the hammer, and the monster cuts off the deep throw to the force side deep cut. The squirrel (defender 3) man guards the break side handler to eliminate the throw to the break side or an easy dump This forces the offense to swing the disc to the open handler on the force side.
As the offense cycles through their cuts, the two man cup follows the disc, but the mark takes an aggressive no dump mark, while the second defender cuts off the IO throw to the break side. The force side wing pinches down to eliminate any cuts straight in from the force side. The mid mid sits in the gap between the cup and the force side wing to cover the middle of the field (cutting off any over the top throws) The break side wing plays dangerously far in to ensure the break side hammer is contested. The squirrel continues to play man defense to prevent the dump.
The offense has no options so throws a hammer to the break side cutter, which is contested by the break side wing, who forces a turnover.
