Here is a typical formation for a 2-3-2 zone, with two rabbits marking the handlers, forcing middle into the 3 person wall. The two deeps are primarily trying to stop the continuation along the side line and deep threats by the outside wings.
There isn't much to discuss if the offense only sends two cutters deep.
The biggest threat is if the disc gets swung quickly to one of the sidelines, before the rabbits can put on a mark to force back into the middle of the field. It is important for the non-marking rabbit not to get caught poaching.
This sets up the offense for a sideline continuation over the wall, but under the deep look who has to respect the deep threat.
If the outer wall sees this coming and helps out with the deep comeback...
The mid wall still runs the risk of getting beat to the side line by the popper.
The deeps also have to be on the lookout for the offense flooding 3 cutters deep.
Ideally the wall will take away those low flying lazers up the middle, forcing a more lofty throw that allows the deep more time to catch up. The outer wall needs to be aware that their cutters did not come in, so they need to around to help pitch in along the sidelines for those come back cuts.
If the mark gets broken here, its good game for the defense. So you have to respect the around and flat I/O.
Let's assume the rabbit holds the mark...
The defense still has to respect the break side hammer. So it is important for the deeps to communicate with their outer wall counterparts to get help sooner, rather than later.
The offense doesn't have any obvious threats to the deep middle.
A direct hammer look is probably unlikely.
But there is still another looks that is worth mentioning...
if the under clears to that force side, the outer walls need to be aware of the new throwing lane that has just opened between them. So outside wall has to find that sweet spot of being wide enough to help with the continuation if the disc ever gets to the side line, yet still close enough to stop the primary throwing lane down the middle of the field. Likewise, the middle wall need to be sure not to over pursue any under clear.
