Once the stall count gets to 5 or 6, the thrower, #6, should make eye contact with the right handler, #7. #7 doesn't cut for the dump UNTIL they get the look.
#7 is going to cut behind the thrower. The thrower is going to pivot 180 degrees, looking backwards down the field. This will box out the marker.
The thrower makes a nice, soft, short pass just before #7 gets behind the thrower.
#7 catches the disc. Their momentum carries them past #6 and #6's defender. #1 sees this and starts going deep.
#7's defender is still trailing by a few footsteps, meaning there is no force, and they can make a backhand huck to #1, or a break-side throw to #2.
OK, let's rewind. Suppose #7's defender is right on them, and they didn't get the disk....
#5 is not going to move until they're sure #7 isn't getting the dump, but once that happens, they're going to go over the top.
The thrower puts a soft forehand in front of #5. Receiver #4 sees this coming and fakes in.
#4 busts deep for the forehand huck. #3 cuts under.
