Blue is on offense. Red is forcing to the right side of the field. The key to cutting is variable speeds at sharp angles.
Avoid rounded cuts like this.

This will only tire yourself out, while making it easier for the defense
Instead, make cuts at 45 degree angles.
Out
Or
In
As a cutter, you have the element of surprise; when and where. The defense has to react to you. If you know what you are doing you should be able to get a step or two on the defender.
In addition, throw in fakes to try and get your defender to commit one way or another.
Take a couple of step out, before heading in.
Or take a couple steps in
Before heading out.
Like this. Your cuts will resemble the lines drawn to make a check mark.
Also, pay attention how your defender is shading against you. In this set up, the defender is trying to take away the under at the expense of the over. So fake the under and go deep.
In this set up, the defender is taking away the deep at the expense of the under. So fake the deep and take the under.
Try to avoid making double cuts to the same side of the field.
After making your initial fake, cut hard.
And then clear out just as hard, to the opposite side of the field,
You will be creating space for your next cutter
Or potentially a break side threat
A good handler can fake a back hand to create this I/O break.
If you double cut,
you will either cut off the next cutter in the stack....
like so
Or you will force the stack to wait until you are done cutting,
which only increasing the stall count.
and potentially allows for the defenders to poach the primary throwing lane.
Like this...
So, when it is your turn to cut...
Make your fake....
Make your cut...
And clear out to the opposite side.
Then cycle your way back to the top of the stack.
