Setup is two lines, facing each other. Force is flick to start. The order of the drill is to mark, then throw, then cut. There is 25 yards between lines, to generate a 15 yard gain on the under cut.
Red #1 takes a few cuts deep before starting their under cut. The cone is the target for receiving the open side pass.
Blue #1 throws the open side pass and now makes the same cut for the next red thrower.
Continue this rotation for several open side throws.
Once we've warmed up our throws, we will try to hit the break side clear part of this cut, with the same setup.
In this case, the new target is the opposite cone, mimicking our horizontal slash cut to clear the open lane.
Be sure to stay out of the way of the opposite line's cut after making this catch.
IMPORTANT! The mark is playing 100%, so if they stop you from making a smooth break throw to your receiver in motion, don't throw it. Turn to face the line behind you and dish the next person a flat backhand.
This will, again, mimic our real offence. We don't want to encourage forcing break throws that are too difficult - get used to taking easy resets and throwing them securely.
Continue to make the next cut as usual, until everyone has had a few chances at breaks.
Switch force and repeat for backhands.
