All players start in a normal vertical stack.
Defensive player from back of the stack pulls back from the stack several yards to make sure that a deep cut is not made, but allows in cut.
As defensive player at top of the stack cheats deep and allows in cut the defensive player must poach off of his man into the lane so that a throw cannot be completed to the offensive player cutting in.
The deep man must quickly come in to cover the open man at the front of the stack so that an easy throw is not completed. The man that poached off the offensive player in the front of the stack must now cover the offensive player from the back of the stack that was cutting in.
All players then shuffle back into the stack. This play is to cause confusion on the offensive side of the disc for 5-6 seconds so it makes it harder for the disc to get thrown.
The worst case scenario here is that an easy reset is made. The one positive to this though is that the disc will now be closer to the sideline leading to a harder throw to be made up field.
Then if this throw is made they would still be kept on the sideline. The number one rule in ultimate is the more stupid throws you force the more of a chance there is the other team will croak and that is the goal of this if done correctly.
