Initial set up for a vertical stack on the sideline--1. The stack is at a slight angle. 2. The dump (7) sets up 5-7 YARDS AWAY FROM THE THROWER, PARALLEL to the THROWER or SLIGHTLY AHEAD (the 1 is still the front of the stack and the third handler)
AFTER STALL 2 (YES, STALL 2!), the THROWER (6) TURNS AND FACES THE DUMP (7)
This time ONCE THE THROWER AND THE DUMP MAKE EYE CONTACT, the DUMP should make his cut
This cut will either be an up line cut (we want this to be the cut 9 times out of 10 in order for our flow to work out)
Or a dump cut (backfield)...IF THIS THROW IS COMPLETED, the IMMEDIATE LOOK IS TO CONTINUE TO THAT OPEN SIDE OF THE FIELD
If the dump makes a cut upline and DOES NOT GET THE DISC, he MUST CLEAR INTO THE SECOND SPOT IN THE STACK
As the dump (7) is clearing back into the stack, the 1 in the stack (1) is CUTTING TO THE OPEN SPACE IN THE BACKFIELD
The handler (6) should make this throw EARLY AND TO SPACE (IF THIS THROW IS COMPLETED, the thrower should look to CONTINUE TO THAT NEW OPEN SIDE OF THE FIELD--most likely the break side)
If this throw is NOT OPEN, the new dump (1) WILL CUT UPLINE
After the throw is caught, the thrower becomes the new dump
