Usually done when slightly off the centre. Probably best off the back of a time out. In this case assume backhand force. Stack slightly angled and reset set up on the break side.
back of stack cuts hard towards the front cone on the open side. If they beat the defender in a foot race then its an easy pass for a score.
In most cases the defender will shut this down.
This is the most threatening position for that defender so the will make sure that that isn't open. BUT while they think their job is done the play only just started.
7 can then make a sharp cut inside to catch the easy score, having created nice separation from their defender on the open side.
If the mark on the disc steps across to cover that open side throw.
1 can put the disc out into space on the break side.
Front of stack (3) is obviously always playing with their head up and as that disc goes up they can run it down for an easy score.
