    Blue on offence | Red on defence | Red1, red2, red3 are our cup | Red3 is chase - forcing backhand sideline, red2 is inside cup, red1 is outside cup | Red4, red5, red6 are our mids. red4 and red5 are wings, red6 is our hatchet | red 7 is our deep

  2. Step 2

    When to use: heavy crosswind, heavy upwind | Aim: get the disc trapped on the sideline, force lots of throws to generate turnovers

    Red3 force backhand with big emphasis on no around break to blue3 | red1 and red2 stop throws going to the middle of the field and stop poppers/crashes into the cup

    If the cup gets broken laterally, must move back to stop continuation before we reset the cup

  5. Step 5

    Reset the cup, but angled slightly as there is no longer the threat of the around break. Encourage passes that lose yards.

    Open pass that loses yards to blue 1 is given. | cup must move across field but make sure not to give the easy break back to blue3

    Movement of cup is as a whole unit to minimise gaps appearing during movement.

    Now that disc on the sideline we want to trap on, the cup changes slightly. Red2 becomes our force, completely flat into the sideline | red3 drops backfield to stop backwards/inwards dumps | red1 stops upfield throws and crashes

    If cup gets broken, we revert to previous cup formation - first stop continuation then reset

    Cup resets.

    Break through or over the cup to a popper (blue5) | first priority - stop downfield continuation

    After continuation is stopped, cup resets
