This is the classic "zipper" play. It starts with the back two cutters in the stack cutting to opposite sides. Back of the stack initiates
Cutters want to cut all the way to the sideline to open up the middle of the field for the closest cutter
closest cutter then is essentially "iso'd", they typically will strike deep if fronted since they have a head start
But if for some reason they are being backed....
They just come and take the disc under easily
