Opponents come down in a man defense. We set up with an 'active pair' in front of the central handler and an 'inactive pair' in a side-stack on the break-side.
Cutting action is triggered off the central handler receiving the disc.
The active pair run a peppermill. As the disc moves up the field, the sidestack needs to move forward with it.
The deepest player in the side stack should be thinking about making a deep cut along the side line and then cutting into the open space. Handlers should avoid pushing forward too fast - we want to give the receivers space to play in flow before resetting to the handlers. If the break-side handler feels they are clogging, they can push into the side stack.
At this point, the side-stack player is ready for their big cut into space. We don't want too many players in front of the disc. If you can see that you would be cutting into someone else's space (eg. #5) you should clear to the sidestack or breakside handler position.
If that's an open shot, then great! Otherwise, reset to the handlers and original 'inactive pair' becomes active.
And from there you can just run it again if need be!
