Step by step 13 steps
  1. Step 1

The defense has 3 people in cup, 3 mids, and 1 deep deep. Since they have 4 people downfield, it's a zone designed to take away over the top throws(hammers, scoobers, etc). So the way we beat this is to work their weakness: the cup. Since there is only 3 people in the cup, it will be easier to find holes through the cup. What we want to do is swing the disc from side to side of the field as far as possible and quickly as possible to tire out the cup. After 3-4 swings across the field, the cup will start to loosen up and we should be able to find holes through it to the poppers and then to the wings. If the disc is in the center of the field(which it shouldn't since we should be swinging) this is the general setup. We have the 2 poppers(4,5) just beyond the cup looking for a space to receive a scoober or potentially crashing the cup. Handlers stretched wide-ish but ready to move into a better spot to receive the disc depending on the situation. The 2 wings(6,7) are stretching the deep deep and also potentially the mids. Depending on the conditions, we may decide to go for the scoobers/hammers if the conditions are good and they're giving it to us, but if not, what follows is the game plan.

  2. Step 2

1 swings disc to 3. wing 7 comes toward the disc along with popper 5, they are trying to split defender 5. When 3 receives the disc, they have one second to look up field and make a throw. If nothing is there they IMIMEDIATELY dump the disc back to 1 who has sprinted back behind 3 and far back enough so that they can swing the to 2.

  3. Step 3

1 has sprinted to their position behind 3 and receives the dump, the defensive cup is closing in on 3, ideally we want to get that dump off before the cup can set and put on a good mark

  4. Step 4

1 swings the disc to 2 who has gotten in good position to get the swing around the cup. As this swing is taking place, wing 6 is coming down the sidelines toward the disc, popper 4 is looking to get the next swing from 2 close-ish to the sideline and popper 5 tries to split the defender #4 with wing 6 once 4 gets the disc. Wing 7 is going upfield away from the disc looking to spread the deep deep and possibly looking for a good hammer spot.

  5. Step 5

2 swings to 4, 4 gets disc and has one second to hit either 5 coming from the middle or 6 coming from the sideline. If nothing is there 4 dumps back to 2 who has sprinted back behind 4 in anticipation of getting the disc and swinging it to the other side of the field

  6. Step 6

2 receives disc and immediately swings to 1

  7. Step 7

1 receives and immediately swings to 3, popper 5 and wing 7 are now again trying to split the #5 defender.

  8. Step 8

3 receives, looks for the popper 5 or wing 7, if nothings there we just keep on doing the same thing until the cup loosens, 3 back to 1

  9. Step 9

1 receives the disc and swings to 2

  10. Step 10

2 receives and swings to 4,

  11. Step 11

4 receives disc and looks to either popper 5 coming from the middle or wing 7 from the sideline.

  12. Step 12

The cup has now tired and 4 is able to get the disc to 5 in the middle. Once we break through the cup we try to keep the disc moving forward. This means that handlers need to be pushing up hard(sprinting) and the other popper and wings need to be COMING TOWARD the disc to get the next continuation. NEVER run away from the disc, go get it!

  13. Step 13

5 hits 6 and we jailbreak to the endzone.
