The wheel handler movements are for when the disc is on the sideline handler, and the force is towards that sideline. NOTE: The handlers are angled up field slightly to preserve yardage on dumps.
The center handler fakes up field quickly, making the mark move inside.
Option 1: Center handler then jab steps back to catch a short swing into space.
Reset disc: Assume that the first look was not viable.
The center handler then cuts strike up line. The break side handler creeps into the space horizontally to replace the center handler as he gets too far upline.
Reset disc. Assume the strike cut was not viable.
Break side handler cuts back for the swing pass. Note that he cut across horizontally originally so that he can create separation from his defender on this cut but not lose a large amount of yards.
Reset disc, assume that the previous look was not viable.
The first strike cut clears out once its clear that he won't receive the disc, and the second strikes into that space. On the clear, it is crucial to cut hard and get out as fast as possible.
Reset disc: Assume the second strike cut was not viable.
The last option in the wheel is an around OI backhand to the clearing first striker to the opposite side of the field. This is a pretty dangerous throw, so it is important that the moving handler create separation by cutting hard. NOTE: This throw could also potentially be to a cutter from the break side filling the space it the handler is too far away.
