Our opponents (blue) have the disc. We (red) are set up in a forehand force.
The disc is swung to the sideline we're forcing to. This is an ideal situation for a sideline trap. We call this "easiest" because our goal is to take away the easiest throw.
The mark (1) quickly shifts their mark to take away the dump throw. The dump defender (2) shifts their position to take away the up-line cut for an easy throw.
Our 3 closest down field defenders (4, 5, and 6) shift their coverage to take away any cuts towards the disc.
Our furthest defender (7) anticipates the deep throw left open by the mark, allowing us to make a play on a 50/50 ball.
Our far-side handler defender (3) shifts further up-field, respecting both the hammer to their check (blue 3) and the hammer to break side space (blue 4 & 5)
NO THROWS SHOULD HAPPEN IN THIS SPACE
