Initial setup for horizontal.
Say we hit the first cut, which is a breakside cut by number 6.
This player has several options, we'll review each. The first option is hitting number 5 in the breakside deep.
The second option
is hitting number 5 cutting back in.
The third option
is hitting the streaking handler. For all three of these examples, the cutter is getting rid of the disk almost immediately, making sure that only 3 people are behind the disk at all times.
Now that we are on the sideline, we will reset to our typical diamond cuts where the open side cutter in that third of the field goes break side and the breakside cutter cuts deep.
If we don't get a throw off immediately, we will want to center the disk as the power position is always in the center of the field.
Then we continue as normal, with the typical clearing space for the other cutters.
And so on an so forth. The key is to clear space in the middle of the field for other cutters to utilise.
