We start in a normal horizontal offensive setup with 3 handlers and 4 cutters evenly spread across the field. The cones represent where the cutters should cut.
We always start with cutter who is on the open side of the handler cutting in and to the breakside. In this case it would be number 6 cutting in to the bottom middle cone. At the same time the cutter on the break side of the handler should cut the opposite direction, which would be to the top middle cone.
If the disc is not thrown, the next progression will be for both of the middle cutters to reverse their cuts and start making their way to the sidelines.
Simultaenously, the sideline cutters are beginning to setup their cuts into the space the middle cutters are vacating.
The original middle cutters are continuing to clear to the sideline.
And the original sideline cutters are making the same diamond shaped cut that we began with.
And so on.
And so forth.
