#1 the thrower can throw up a space pass to the open side given #2 is being face guarded. if looking for this option you dont want to be too far from the thrower as it will have to be a floaty throw and it will give the defense more time to react. maybe something like 10 yards at a 45 degree angle. for this play #2 stays still and the thrower puts the disc to space and #2 goes and chases it down.
from here #2 has power position and can use his momentum to make a huck or do some throw and go. can potentially put up a break depending how close the front of the stack is from where you caught it. If #1 can throw the disc to #2 and immediately run strike he will most likely be open for another up line gainer. with power position and no mark for couple seconds. down field needs to realize what the handlers are doing and stay away from their space while still making effective cuts.
