Zone setup. Forced to throw with the wind, hoping for a sideline trap.
What the defense wants to happen. Swing to the force side. Force side mid shuts off the throw to 7. Defense shifts towards the side of the field, trusting the wind to interfere with a good break side throw over the mids.
This is a bad situation, trying to throw into the wind, through a tough cup. 7 and 4 are ready to attack lofty throws, and 5 and 7 are taking the under cuts.
So, back to the starting point.
Send a middle cutter (5) to find the hole in the cup. This should bring the mid mid player very short. The other middle cutter should start edging towards the force side. The force side handler can take advantage of the open space, and take some yards
If the cup and the mid mid shut down the throw through the cup, take the yards with the swing. 5 goes downfield, taking the mid mid along. 6 and 7 should force the force side mid to pick one of them. The throw goes to whichever one is open.
Or...
If the throw gets to the mid cutter, through the zone, there are many options. A quick throw can go to any of the handlers, or to the other middle cutter (6), who should be sitting in an open area. The sideline cutters should start worrying the deep defender.
A safe option is the swing to the break sideline. See how many options are available from here.
