  1. Step 1

    Start: Disc is on the sideline, and play is beginning from either a turnover or a tapped-in disc.

  2. Step 2

    First swing: Handler swings to middle. Cutters are doing some bitchin' cuts.

  3. Step 3

    Opportunity taken! Cutter is coming in on the far side of the field, wide open for a continuation throw. The handler on the side of the field is acutely aware of where their mark is in relation to the middle handler and the disc, and hangs back or moves in a way that forces the mark to stay close. Flow has begun!

  4. Step 4

    Continuation! Everyone continues downfield. The handler who hung back can now make a very hard cut downfield, past the disc...

  5. Step 5

    ... then make a hard stop and turn back for a simple, easy dump. His mark will overshoot 95% of the time. This specific part of this is theoretical – there's a number of ways the continuation can keep going.
