  1. Step 1

    At Stall 4, turn to face either dump. Both players initiate immediately into simultaneous cuts.

  2. Step 2

    The OPEN side dump cuts back behind the disc, and the primary look is to hit them a step onto the break side so that they can make a continuation break throw. The BREAK side dump cuts up line to the open side (strike cut) and is also a viable look.

  3. Step 3

    If neither initial look is hit, both players reverse directions once they have broken the plane of the disc and are one step onto the opposite side from which they started. The OPEN side dump who cut into the backfield towards the break side goes a bit deeper and back to the open side, while the BREAK cutter who just made a strike up-line cut turns and heads back to the break side for a potential break throw (often an around or high release backhand).
